ONSITE ACTIVITIES

Archery. Ready…Aim…Fire! You too will feel like Robin Hood as you discover the fun and precision of Archery. Enjoyed by people of all ages and fitness levels, this fun activity will test your accuracy and your competitive spirit as you shoot to be the first to strike the ellusive ‘bullseye’.

Canoeing. What better place to canoe than on the pristine waters of the Bongil Bongil National Park. From this vantage point you’ll be up close and personal with the rich array of diverse plant and animal life that call the National Park home. However, if you are after something a little more adventurous, ask to play our popular game, ‘Ship Swap’.

Low Ropes. Did somebody say Tarzan? Our Low Ropes course may be a challenge, but its not too tough that it can’t be enjoyed by everyone. On this activity you’ll find yourself traversing through Jungle Canyon or meandering along The Heebie Jeebie. A popular attraction at The Centre that people can’t seem to get enough of.

Inner Limits. This activity is a combination of group based activities designed to challenge an individual’s ability to work within a team. Participants will be stretched as they work on their problem solving and communication skills while trying to accomplish a series of tasks. These tasks start off quite simple and become more complex. You might find yourself trapped in a human knot, recovering the toxic waste or lowering the infamous ‘helium stick’.

Outer Limits. Do you want to build team spirit, confidence and communication whilst having an experience you’ll never forget? Picture this, you and your team are racing against the opposite team and the clock. Follow the map, locate and conquer the field challenges, obstacles and brain benders and be the first team back to base and victory, sweet vistory will be yours! This experience will test not only the outer limits of you, but your team mates as well.

Horseriding. The Centre has its own established equestrian facility with programs to suit people of all ages and abilities. Individuals will receive qualified instruction on horse and personal safety, grooming, saddling, bridling, and riding tuition. Our aim is for you to have a hands-on and fun experience as well as build personal confidence and provide a gateway for further development of horsemanship skills.

Fencing. This is recreational fencing, a fun and safe way to learn true and accurate fencing techniques at your own pace and fitness level. Challenge a friend to a duel and enjoy the thrills of swordsmanship in a safe environment with a qualified instructor. Our fencing academy is registered with the NSW Fencing Association.

Dance Class. The Bus Stop, The Waltz, The Nut Bush and Boot Scooting, these are just some of the dances students can learn in our dance class. Instructed by qualified dancers, students will love getting footloose and fancy free with our dance classes. Once you bop, you can’t stop!

Circus Skills. Roll up roll up!!! It’s circus time! This activity will challenge and entertain students as well as equip them with skills they only thought trained professionals could have. They’ll learn the ancient circus arts of stilt walking, plate twirling, juggling and even spinning sticks!!!

For those wanting something a little more adventurous then why not take advantage of our brand new High Ropes Course containing the following high adrenalin activities:

Powerfan Drop. The Centre is the proud home of Australia’s Highest Powerfan Drop, on this activity participants will find themselves scaling a telegraph pole to a platform situated 14meters above the ground. Attached to a cable that is connected to the powerfan device at the top of the pole, particpants must pluck up the courage to jump from the patform and enjoy the brief free fall before being gently lowered to the ground.

Giant Swing.  A hugely popular activity which not only gives participants a massive rush of adrenalin but fosters team work as non-harnessed team members haul their harnessed counter parts into the sky, positioning them for the ride of their life. Once at the desired height the participant releases themself with our self-releasing trigger system and experiences a truly giant swing.

High Y. This activity sees 2 team members working together to traverse across  a cable line suspended 8 metres above the ground. A fantastic team building activity that is truly challenging.

Pamper Pole. Particpants must climb a free-standing pole and negotiate themselves to stand upon the top of the pole unassisted. Once ontop, particpants must then leap to a trapese bar suspended 10 metres above the ground.

Log Ladder Climbs. Another great team building activity, whereby participants must work together to climb up a ladder which is a series of logs of different shapes and sizes.

Leap of Faith. This activity is exactly as it sounds, it will take faith for participants to climb a pole to a 10metre high platform, once there, they are required to leap out to a suspended trapese bar.

All onsite activities are fully supervised by trained staff to ensure the safety and fun of all participants.
